Medical School Admissions Consultant

Job Summary

Currently in residency, the part-time Medical School Admissions Consultant will mentor and guide pre-med and medical school applicants through the admissions process, including application material development and strategic planning, while working remotely across the United States or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Assist prospective medical school candidates in identifying opportunities to enhance their profiles and draft application materials
• Manage relationships with applicants and families, providing guidance on school selection, essays, resumes, and interviews
• Stay informed on medical school admissions criteria and trends to advise students on appropriate program choices

Required qualifications

• Currently in a residency program (MD or DO)
• Graduated from a U.S. medical school
• Previous experience on a medical school admissions committee
• A passion for mentorship and coaching pre-med students
• Strong planning and organizational skills
