Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting Medical Affairs in a remote capacity, the full-time Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and institutional stakeholders, focusing on compliant scientific exchange and medical strategy within oncology and related therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs activities through scientific exchange and insight gathering across oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, and acute care
• Engage with healthcare providers and KOLs to build trusted relationships and facilitate medical strategy execution
• Assist in identifying clinical trial sites and respond to unsolicited medical information requests in compliance with regulations

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Preferred 1+ years of field medical/MSL experience in a related role
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic, healthcare, or pharmaceutical setting preferred
• Oncology experience required, with additional experience in infectious disease, nephrology, or critical care strongly preferred
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-building skills
