Medical Science Director

Job Summary

Supporting medical affairs activities in oncology and related therapeutic areas, the full-time remote Medical Science Director will engage with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders while contributing to medical strategy and scientific education initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical affairs through compliant scientific exchange and insight gathering across multiple therapeutic areas
• Serve as a scientific resource to healthcare providers and institutional decision-makers, fostering relationships within healthcare systems
• Contribute to the development and execution of medical affairs strategy, including publication planning and investigator education

Required qualifications

• Advanced healthcare or scientific degree (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD, DNP, NP, PA-C, or equivalent)
• Prior field medical experience preferred, with at least 1 year of scientific engagement experience
• 1-5+ years of experience in an academic institution, healthcare system, or pharmaceutical/biotech industry
• Oncology experience required, with a focus on engaging oncology healthcare providers
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-building skills with healthcare stakeholders
