Medical Science Liaison Lead

Job Summary

Leading a team of Medical Science Liaisons in Italy, the full-time Medical Science Liaison Lead (Associate Director) will manage team performance, develop field medical plans, and communicate scientific information to healthcare professionals while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and foster a collaborative team environment, driving performance and effectiveness of the MSL team
• Serve as a scientific expert in TTR, providing accurate medical information and managing national and regional medical projects
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance with company and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Scientific degree with a strong background in basic science or clinical settings
• Previous experience in people management and as an MSL in biotech or rare diseases
• Experience in clinical research and medical education, including KOL management
• Fluency in Italian and English with excellent communication skills
• Commitment to upholding ethical, legal, and regulatory standards in a highly matrixed environment
