Medical Scribe - IL Licensed

Job Summary

To support a medical practice, the part-time Medical Scribe - IL Licensed will document physician services during patient encounters in real time, accurately enter information into the EHR, and retrieve data for physician review while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Document in real time the physician's actions, words, and findings during patient visits
• Accurately enter and manage patient information in the EHR as dictated by the physician
• Retrieve and transcribe relevant data for physician review, including lab results and medical records

Required qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required
• Completion of a medical terminology course preferred or previous medical terminology experience
• Typing proficiency of 80-90 words per minute
• Ability to multi-task and maintain professional communication
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
