Job Summary
Providing essential support for credentialing functions, the full-time Medical Staff Credentialing Assistant will coordinate application processes, ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, and maintain credentialing databases in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the application and reapplication process for practitioners seeking membership and clinical privileges
- Support credentialing teams to ensure compliance with relevant accrediting agencies
- Maintain credentialing-related databases in accordance with medical staff policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of credentialing experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Experience in an academic medical center, multi-entity health system, and/or a CVO is strongly preferred
