Medical Stop Loss Underwriter

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Medical Stop Loss Underwriter will assess risk factors, support data systems, and analyze group performance to ensure informed underwriting decisions and effective client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Assess risk factors of potential clients and evaluate group risk profiles using machine learning/AI software
• Organize and maintain data systems, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security
• Collaborate with the account management team to provide research and analytical support for group performance analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• 2-5 years of medical stop loss underwriting experience is generally required
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to understand and integrate complex data
• Prior experience with risk assessments is preferred
