Medical Strategist

Job Summary

Seeking a highly strategic and scientifically grounded Medical Strategist, the remote position will manage client relationships, lead high-level discussions, and provide actionable recommendations based on evolving treatment landscapes and market dynamics.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the medical and scientific lead across projects, building strong consultancy relationships and delivering strategic insights
• Independently lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and client expectations
• Contribute to new business initiatives, including proposal development and strategic recommendations, while maintaining strong industry relationships

Required qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, MD, MSc, or equivalent)
• Significant experience in medical strategy, medical affairs, or scientific consulting within pharmaceutical/biotech environments
• Strong understanding of treatment landscapes and drug development pipelines across one or more therapeutic areas
• Proven consultancy and client-facing experience, with confidence in facilitating senior-level strategic discussions
• Exceptional project management and financial management capabilities
