Medical Student Advisor
Job Summary
Providing academic guidance and mentorship, the part-time temporary Medical Student Advisor will support MD/MPH students in developing and completing capstone projects while collaborating with program leadership to ensure successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provides academic advising and mentorship to assigned MD/MPH students throughout the capstone experience
- Guides students in developing and completing capstone projects
- Monitors student progress and addresses academic or project-related concerns
Required qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, MD, EdD, or equivalent) in Public Health, Medicine, Health Sciences, or a related field required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant field
- Professional certification or licensure in a relevant field preferred
- Learning agility to adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Technical proficiency in using office software and relevant computer applications
