Medical Underwriting Assistant

Job Summary

A company in the Healthcare industry is seeking a Medical Underwriting Assistant.

Position Responsibilities

• Retrieve, complete, and track Rating work within internal systems
• Manipulate census data within Excel and enter census data into Excel based systems to produce results
• Attach and communicate results to internal clients and communicate with supervisors with all questions

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
• Able to work in a high-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining Service Level Agreements
• Medical Office Experience and Medical Terminology Knowledge
• Experience working in a fast-paced team environment and great multitasking skills
• Strong organizational skills and critical thinking skills
