Medical Writer

Job Summary

Collaborating with medical directors and copywriters, the remote Medical Writer will develop scientific and clinical content across various therapeutic areas, ensuring accuracy and clinical applicability while managing multiple projects effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit content such as sales aids, whitepapers, and patient education materials in collaboration with medical and copy teams
• Cultivate expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and ensure all deliverables are fully cited and supported by reliable sources
• Attend review committee meetings and interact with clients to resolve issues related to scientific content and project deadlines

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical writing or pharmaceutical writing experience
• Master's degree in Life Sciences; PhD or PharmD preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in Medical Advertising or Medical Communications is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret scientific data
• Familiarity with research processes and document delivery systems like PubMed
