Job Summary
Working remotely, the Medical Writer will generate scientific content aimed at improving patient outcomes, collaborating with clients and teams to develop client-ready drafts and manage the MLR review process.
Key responsibilities
- Generate content outlines and develop client-ready drafts in various formats, including slide decks and summaries
- Organize and annotate references according to client directives and house style
- Confer with teams during the MLR review process, addressing queries and implementing required changes
Required qualifications
- Advanced Science Degree (PharmD, MD, PhD) with 0-3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and reference-management software (e.g., EndNote)
- Knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas and regulatory/scientific guidelines
- Strong skills in literature searches and data interpretation
- Ability to establish clear objectives and organize ideas creatively
