Medical Writer

Job Summary

To support a dynamic writing team, the remote Medical Writer will produce regulatory and scientific documents for medical device and pharma/biotech clients, working on a contracted basis that can be part-time or full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Directly responsible for writing assigned documents and reports while adhering to project timelines and client expectations
• Collaborate effectively with team members and project managers, providing updates and documenting tasks in project management tools
• Participate in quality control checks and mentor junior staff, ensuring high standards of accuracy and scientific rigor in all written deliverables

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of direct writing experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related academic fields
• Minimum of a BSc in a life sciences or related discipline
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and collaborative document sharing platforms
• Familiarity with current guidelines and regulations relevant to medical writing
• High level of English fluency, with strong oral and written communication skills
