Medical Writer

Job Summary

To support a growing medical education initiative, the full-time Medical Writer will facilitate content development and quality control for a diverse portfolio of educational activities, preparing clinical presentations and expert interview scripts while collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Create clear and well-written deliverables with occasional supervision
• Research, write, proofread, and edit a variety of medical education activities
• Conduct comprehensive literature searches to inform content development

Required qualifications:

• Possess an advanced clinical, scientific, or journalism degree (MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, NP, RN with Masters certification, etc.) with previous medical writing experience
• Demonstrate a firm understanding of medical writing and content development
• Exhibit strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills
• Understand clinical research and pharmaceutical product development processes
• Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
