Medical Writer

Job Summary

Supporting the development of scientifically accurate content, the remote Medical Writer will draft and revise various scientific materials, interpret clinical data, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while gaining competencies in medical writing under structured guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and revise scientific content, including slide decks and manuscripts, while adhering to AMA style and client-specific guidelines
• Participate in internal and client meetings to support content discussions and incorporate feedback from reviewers
• Track tasks and timelines using project management tools, ensuring efficient delivery of work within budgeted hours

Required Qualifications

• Doctoral-level degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent)
• Strong interest in medical writing and scientific communication
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn AMA style and reference tools
• Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills to balance multiple projects
• Prior medical writing experience is beneficial but not required; independence will align with experience
