Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time Medical Writer for Psychedelic Medicine will write and edit content for various audiences, including clinicians and patients, ensuring clarity and accuracy in the complex field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Write and edit content for the Journey Clinical blog and other educational resources targeting clinicians, patients, and policymakers
- Translate complex clinical and scientific information into clear, compelling content while tracking developments in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy
- Collaborate with clinical teams and researchers to ensure published materials reflect current evidence and clinical practice
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in medical writing, science communication, or clinical education content, preferably with a focus on psychedelic medicine
- A background in medicine, clinical psychology, neuroscience, pharmacology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Deep familiarity with the psychedelic medicine landscape, including clinical trial literature and regulatory developments
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong portfolio of published work demonstrating clarity and accuracy
- Understanding of AEO/SEO/GEO content principles and the ability to apply them in a structured content workflow
