Job Summary

To support a growing team, the contract Associate Director, Medical Writing will provide expert writing and editing support for high-quality scientific documents, manage data interpretation for publications, and engage with internal and external stakeholders remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide writing and editing support for documents intended for medical/scientific publication and presentations
  • Manage and review data and source documents for publication needs
  • Oversee outsourced medical writers and manage project timelines through the publication review system
Required qualifications
  • A PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience
  • Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
  • Knowledge in therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and/or oncology is preferred
