Job Summary
To support a growing team, the contract Associate Director, Medical Writing will provide expert writing and editing support for high-quality scientific documents, manage data interpretation for publications, and engage with internal and external stakeholders remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide writing and editing support for documents intended for medical/scientific publication and presentations
- Manage and review data and source documents for publication needs
- Oversee outsourced medical writers and manage project timelines through the publication review system
Required qualifications
- A PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience
- Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
- Knowledge in therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and/or oncology is preferred
