Job Summary

To support the timely production of high-quality medical publications, the remote contract Associate Director, Medical Writing will manage writing and editing for documents such as abstracts and manuscripts, engage with authors and stakeholders, and oversee outsourced medical writers.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide expert writing and editing support for various medical documents intended for publication or presentation
  • Manage and review data and source documents to ensure accurate information for publications
  • Engage with internal and external authors to develop publication plans and strategies
Required qualifications
  • A PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience
  • Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
  • Knowledge across therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and oncology is preferred
