Medical Writing Associate Director

Job Summary

Offering a remote contract opportunity, the Associate Director, Medical Writing - Publications will provide expert writing and editing support for high-quality medical documents, manage publication processes, and engage with stakeholders to develop publication strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide writing and editing support for documents intended for medical/scientific publication and presentations
• Manage and review data and source documents necessary for publication
• Engage with authors and stakeholders to develop publication plans and oversee outsourced medical writing projects

Required qualifications

• PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 8 years of experience
• Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and/or oncology preferred
