Job Summary
Providing expert writing and editing support, the remote, full-time Associate Director, Medical Writing - Publications will ensure the timely production of high-quality documents for publication in medical/scientific journals and manage projects through the publication review system.
Key responsibilities
- Provide writing and editing support for abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and presentations
- Manage and review data and source documents for publication needs
- Engage with internal and external authors to develop publication plans and strategies
Required qualifications
- A PhD, MD, or PharmD with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/scientific field
- Research experience in academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and organize clinical and scientific data
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
- Knowledge across therapeutic areas such as immunology, neuroscience, and/or oncology is preferred
