Medicare Actuarial Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Actuarial Services - Medicare.

Key Responsibilities

• Produces actuarial forecasts including revenue and claims, and analyzes benefit and population changes
• Manages monthly reporting of Medicare Advantage product performance and identifies performance variances
• Leads the actuarial component of Value Based Care Medicare Advantage Strategy and manages all actuarial functions for Medicare Advantage products

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or a related business field required
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required; FSA preferred
• 3+ years of experience working with Medicare Advantage is required
• A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible actuarial experience in managed healthcare or a related field
• Strong technical skills including MS Excel, MS Access, and SQL; SAS experience preferred
