Medicare Advantage Strategy Director

Job Summary

Seeking a remote or Washington, DC-based Medicare Advantage Strategy Director, the full-time position will manage client engagements, provide deep expertise in Medicare Advantage strategy, and contribute to business development while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted thought partner to clients, managing multiple projects and ensuring timely deliverables
• Lead go-to-market strategies and translate strategic decisions into operational paths for health plans
• Build and strengthen client relationships while contributing to business development efforts

Required qualifications

• 7-10 years of relevant work experience, including in-house experience within a Medicare Advantage health plan
• Strong expertise in Medicare Advantage, including knowledge of STARS, risk adjustment, and performance management
• Demonstrated ability to bridge plan strategy and operations
• Consulting aptitude with experience in managing a dynamic portfolio of projects and clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
