Medicare Appeals Analyst

Job Summary

Conducting second-level non-medical Medicare appeals decisions, the full-time Reconsideration Analyst II (Part C) will write clear reconsideration decisions, ensure all appeal issues are addressed, and conduct thorough research to support determinations while working remotely from anywhere in the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Write clear non-medical reconsideration decisions that support the determination made
• Ensure all appeal issues raised by parties are addressed fairly and impartially
• Conduct research using federal regulations and Medicare policies to complete accurate decisions

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of general office experience, with education or training in administration or business as a substitute
• One year of experience in Medicare appeals or Managed Care appeals
• Experience with Medicare Part C related appeals activities is preferred
