Medicare Appeals Manager

Job Summary

Managing project activities remotely, the full-time Expedited Appeals Manager will oversee contract deliverables, develop communication strategies, and facilitate team meetings while working weekends and rotating holidays as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Plans and manages project activities to meet contract deliverables
• Develops standardized approaches for disseminating project information and prepares instructional materials
• Manages, trains, and evaluates project work activities and personnel

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60+ credit hours towards a Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related discipline
• Five years of experience in appeals/disputes, enrollment, claims processing, or high-volume transaction environments
• Three years of management or supervisory experience
• Demonstrated experience managing complex workloads in a Medicare or healthcare environment
• Preferred experience with Medicare Part C related appeals activities
