Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Medicare & Medicaid Biller.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and submit electronic and paper claims to Medicare and Medicare Advantage, ensuring compliance with billing guidelines
• Review patient financial records and claims prior to submission to meet payer-specific requirements and resolve errors
• Analyze claims data to identify discrepancies, process rejections, and ensure accurate billing and payment resolution

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a hospital setting, with at least 1 year in Medicare and Medicaid billing
• Experience with electronic health records and medical billing software
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of compliance issues related to billing
• Understanding of hospital billing requirements and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently
