Medicare Biller

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Medicare Biller, the full-time remote position will manage billing for multiple skilled nursing facilities, ensuring timely follow-up on claims and adherence to Medicare guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Bill Medicare for multiple skilled nursing facilities and follow up on claims until payment is received
• Interact with Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) regarding remittances, disputes, and appeals
• Utilize billing software to navigate reports, submit claims, and manage adjustments and denials

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in SNF Medicare billing processes
• Comprehensive knowledge of MCR coding and UB billing
• Familiarity with Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) rules
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
