Medicare Billing Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Billing Operations Specialist - Medicare.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies
• Prepare timely and accurate billing for external clients and document all collections efforts
• Reconcile member accounts and process refunds as needed while maintaining low volume in assigned error queues

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of billing/collections, accounting, or customer service experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Strong background in Medicare or PDP (prescription drug) operations
• Experience in de-escalating irate member calls
• Ability to manage a caseload of 40 different members with varying concerns
• Workforce Management (WFM) background is beneficial
