Medicare Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicare Patient Accounts professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and resolve unpaid or underpaid Medicare insurance claims
• Navigate various payer systems to ensure timely and accurate claim resolutions
• Maintain confidentiality of all company and patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote
• Computer competency, including typing and basic troubleshooting
• Healthcare experience, particularly in insurance or revenue cycle, is preferred
• Experience in insurance claim collections is a plus
