Medicare Claims Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicare Specialist to manage and resolve Medicare claims for hospital or physician groups.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve aged medical claims, outstanding claims, and denied claims to ensure revenue generation
• Review and analyze Medicare claims using the Medicare DDE system and related websites
• Maintain accurate account notes and meet production criteria while minimizing error ratios

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; some college or a degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience with traditional Medicare claims and DDE Direct Data Entry system
• Ability to type 50 words per minute
• Experience with Health Information Systems is beneficial
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
