Job Summary
Leading the development and deployment of statistical models, the full-time Medicare Data Analyst will work remotely to analyze Medicare alternative payment models (APMs) and support the implementation of payment methodologies, while participating in multidisciplinary teams to enhance program monitoring and decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of operational processes for APMs, including payment reconciliation calculations and performance analyses
- Participate in the creation of innovative proposals for value-based care and payment reform projects
- Author project reports, technical assistance tools, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 4-8 years of experience in health policy, health research, or real-world analytics, focusing on shared savings and bundled payment models
- Master's or doctoral degree in data analytics, public health, public policy, economics, or related fields
- Experience analyzing Medicare administrative data, including Parts A, B, and D
- Strong foundation in quantitative methods and statistical techniques
- Broad understanding of Medicare's value-based care approach and APM portfolio
