Job Summary
Motivated and customer-focused, the full-time remote Medicare Insurance Agent will drive member retention and new business growth by building relationships with existing Medicare members and enrolling new beneficiaries into health plans.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain contact with existing Medicare members to enhance satisfaction and conduct annual policy reviews
- Generate and manage a pipeline of Medicare prospects through various outreach methods and conduct needs-based consultations
- Adhere to compliance regulations and complete all necessary certifications and training programs
Required qualifications
- Active Health and Life Insurance License (required)
- AHIP certification and carrier certifications (or ability to obtain)
- 1-3 years of experience in Medicare sales, insurance sales, or related customer service
- Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans
- Proficiency with CRM systems and virtual communication tools
