Medicare Quality Analytics AVP

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and execution of advanced analytics for the Star Ratings Program, the full-time remote Medicare Quality Analytics AVP will develop predictive models, generate actionable insights, and mentor a team of analytics professionals while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to improve quality performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and refinement of advanced statistical and machine learning models to optimize Star Ratings performance
• Translate complex data outputs into actionable insights for clinical outreach and member engagement initiatives
• Own the development of forecasting models and performance monitoring tools to track organizational metrics

Required qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in data science or related fields, with a proven track record in large-scale data solutions
• Significant leadership experience in a healthcare setting, particularly with Medicare Advantage and CMS Star Ratings
• Expert-level proficiency in data architecture, cloud platforms (Azure), and data governance
• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field
• Strong understanding of advanced statistical methods and machine learning applications in healthcare
