Medicare Redetermination Examiner
Job Summary
Working remotely in a temporary six-month capacity, the Medicare Redetermination Examiner will conduct redetermination reviews, respond to appeals from Medicare appellants, and evaluate documentation to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct redetermination reviews according to Medicare rules and regulations
- Respond to incoming appeals professionally and accurately, including letter writing and proofreading
- Research claims processing deficiencies and initiate corrective responses
Required qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of work-related experience
- General PC knowledge
- Ability to adapt to changes
