Medicare Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicare Specialist with HB or PB experience required.

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve aged, outstanding, and denied Medicare claims to ensure timely revenue generation
• Review and post adjustments on Medicare claims using various facility systems
• Maintain accurate account notes and meet production criteria with minimal error ratios

Qualifications and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred
• 1-2 years of experience working with traditional Medicare claims
• 1-2 years of experience using the DDE Direct Data Entry system
• Able to type 50 words per minute
• Experience with Health Information Systems is beneficial
