Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Actuary - Medicare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial performance of business blocks and identify opportunities for improvement
- Oversee the development and filing of premium rates with regulatory authorities
- Supervise and develop actuarial staff focused on Medicare and State Sponsored areas
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field required
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) required
- 5 - 8+ years of relevant professional work experience required
- 4+ years of health insurance actuarial experience preferred
- Prior management experience preferred
