Medication Assistance Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medication Assistance Coordinator to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the Indigent Drug Recovery Program to obtain replacement medications for eligible self-pay patients through Manufacturer Medication Assistance Programs
• Assess patient financial need and eligibility for assistance

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma (required), Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field preferred, or a combination of experience and pharmaceutical terminology knowledge
• 2 years of experience in pharmacy, social services, or financial counseling
• Able to utilize pharmaceutical terminology, insurance/claims processing, and patient financial assessment skills
