Medication Rebate Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Medication Rebate Analyst will analyze complex medical and pharmacy claims data to provide financial insights that enhance the management of high-cost medication rebate contracts.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate financial performance across a medical medication rebate portfolio in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze medical rebate claims data to ensure reporting accuracy for over $500 million in annual rebates
• Develop and enhance analytics that provide insights into the financial performance of medication rebate contracts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience as a rebate data analyst in a pharmacy benefit manager, health plan, or similar organization
• Experience with medical medication claims data and rebates
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL or similar business analytic tools
• Familiarity with Medispan or First Databank drug reference systems
