Medication Safety Officer

Job Summary

A company in the healthcare industry is looking for a Medication Safety Officer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop error prevention strategies to reduce patient safety risks
• Manage medication safety issues caused by drug shortages, look-alike sound-alike drugs, and drug diversion
• Ensure compliance with state and federal medication safety regulatory and legal requirements

Qualifications:

• Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required
• 5 years of experience required
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required
