Meditation Instructor - Colorado Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Meditation Instructor for Compassion Training for Counselors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual 30-minute sessions of meditation instruction online for 6-7 students twice during the semester
• Collaborate with the course instructor to manage student issues and educational obstacles
• Complete required faculty and staff trainings within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Not currently enrolled as a student at the institution
• Extensive experience in mindfulness sitting meditation (minimum 3 years) with an authorized teacher
• Authorization to teach mindfulness meditation in a relevant contemplative tradition
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of privilege and oppression
