Building a new department from the ground up, the full-time Remote Medium Voltage Operations Manager will oversee the hiring and development of crews, establish operating procedures, and manage daily operations for the company's national Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the hiring and development of a 21-person medium voltage operations team over five years
- Manage the transition of medium voltage work from third-party contractors to internal crews while maintaining client service levels
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for medium voltage operations, providing technical guidance and oversight
Required qualifications:
- Experience in medium voltage operations and maintenance
- Proven track record in managing teams and developing operational procedures
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and NFPA 70E
- Ability to manage budgets and financial planning for a department
- Familiarity with training and development programs for technical staff
