Job Summary

A company is looking for a Member Benefit Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end support for members by addressing inquiries and guiding them through their healthcare journey
  • Educate members on health benefit coverage and assist with provider research, appointment scheduling, and claims questions
  • Document interactions accurately and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure timely resolution of member issues
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ year of healthcare industry experience in a member-facing or benefits-focused role
  • 1+ year of experience delivering customer/member-focused solutions in a call center or virtual environment
  • Experience verifying medical benefits and supporting benefit inquiries preferred
  • Medical claims exposure (ICD-9/10, CPT, claim forms) preferred
