Job Summary

Acting as an advocate for members, the full-time hourly Member Benefit Specialist will manage inbound inquiries regarding benefit plans, providing expert guidance and support to enhance the healthcare experience while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service across multiple channels, ensuring ownership of member resolutions
  • Educate members on health benefit coverage, including Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)
  • Take ownership of the member experience, conducting research and resolving issues to optimize their healthcare journey
Required qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of healthcare industry work experience
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions with direct member contact
  • 1+ year of telephonic verification of medical benefits
  • Medical claims exposure, including ICD-9/10 coding and CPT coding
