Job Summary
A company is looking for a Member Care Advocate (MCA) to assist members in navigating their healthcare benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls from members, providers, and vendors with a focus on respectful and solution-oriented interactions
- Manage member inquiries and resolve complex cases related to health plans, billing, prior authorizations, and benefits coverage
- Guide members in accessing appropriate healthcare services and ensure they understand their available benefits
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of healthcare experience, or 5 years of relevant healthcare experience
- Experience with VoIP phone systems and managing a high volume of calls
- Proficient in Google apps, Apple products, and customer relationship management software
- Must complete an 8-week paid training period with no planned time off
