Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare initiative, the remote Member Care Advocate will provide empathetic member support, resolve healthcare-related inquiries, and empower members to navigate their benefits effectively in a high-volume environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide member-centered support by answering inbound calls and chats with clarity and empathy
- Resolve core member issues by explaining benefits coverage and connecting members to available programs
- Leverage tools and resources to document interactions accurately and ensure continuity of care
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of customer service or healthcare experience, or 5 years of relevant experience
- Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls using VoIP phone systems
- Strong familiarity with Google Workspace, Apple products, and CRM software
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations
- Ability to work from a secure, distraction-free home office with reliable internet
