Job Summary
Providing exceptional member service, the full-time Member Service Representative will assist with daily branch operations, perform routine and complex transactions, and engage with members to identify their needs and offer suitable financial solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver excellent member service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining accurate cash balances
- Actively listen to members, advocate for their needs, and provide referrals for appropriate credit union products and services
- Participate in training programs and collaborate with team members to meet branch sales and service goals
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or college degree
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a financial or customer service cash handling environment
- Ability to successfully complete new account and loan training within 1 year of service
- Proficiency in basic PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of credit union policies preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
