Member Service Representative

Job Summary

Engaging with members in a professional manner, the full-time Member Service Representative will perform routine and complex transactions, provide exceptional customer service, and assist in branch operations while maintaining compliance with regulations and policies.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex member transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring cash and checks are balanced daily
• Act as a member advocate by actively listening to their needs and providing appropriate product referrals and solutions
• Participate in training programs and maintain knowledge of credit union products and services to meet branch sales and service goals

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a financial or customer service cash handling environment
• Ability to complete new account and loan training within 1 year of service
• Proficiency in basic PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
