Member Service Representative

Job Summary

As an ambassador of the credit union, the full-time Member Service Representative will assist in daily branch operations, perform routine and complex transactions, and engage with members to provide excellent service while meeting performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the credit union professionally and provide exceptional member service, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all transactions
• Perform routine and complex member transactions, balancing cash and checks daily, and maintaining compliance with regulatory processes
• Actively listen to member needs and offer appropriate product referrals while collaborating with team members to achieve branch goals

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or college degree
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a financial or customer service cash handling environment
• Ability to complete new account and loan training within 1 year of service
• Proficiency in basic PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of credit union policies preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
