Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer support, the part-time hourly Member Services Representative will manage incoming calls from members and providers, handle claims inquiries, issue authorizations, and ensure accurate information is communicated in a remote call center environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customer calls, including issuing authorizations and handling claims inquiries
  • Process customer claims and fulfill requests for ID cards and other service-related inquiries
  • Maintain high call volume efficiency while delivering excellent customer service and addressing feedback regarding service issues
Required qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of customer service or call center experience preferred
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or insurance environment preferred
  • Business-related college courses are a plus
  • Associates degree may substitute for experience
