Membership Development Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Membership Development Officer (Latin America).

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for Members and Young Humanists in Latin America, providing support in Spanish and English
• Identify and recruit new Member organizations and support existing ones, ensuring resources are culturally relevant
• Assist in organizing events and training, including the World Humanist Congress, and maintain regional membership data

Required Qualifications

• 4-Year Degree required
• Proven experience in network building or community organizing
• Fluency in Spanish and excellent command of English; proficiency in Portuguese is desirable
• Understanding of the socio-political landscape of Latin America regarding secularism and human rights
• Strong general IT skills and experience with CRM software is a plus
