Membership Engagement Manager

Job Summary

To support the growth of the Association of Reform Jewish Educators, the part-time Membership Engagement Manager will manage member recruitment, onboarding, and engagement strategies while fostering a sense of belonging within the community, with remote work flexibility and occasional in-person meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement membership recruitment strategies in collaboration with leadership and staff
• Monitor member engagement and support retention efforts through personalized outreach and connection opportunities
• Coordinate volunteer engagement initiatives, matching members with meaningful volunteer opportunities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in membership engagement, volunteer management, or community-building
• Experience in nonprofit organizations or Jewish communal/educational settings
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and membership management systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
